| seller note | I have an ear trumpet that I am considering selling. It is a beehive style, made of black-painted metal with a Bakelite (?) earpiece. The length is 122 mm and the diameter of the bell is 64 mm. There are no maker's marks on the trumpet. I don't have a date for it, but would estimate it at about the beginning of the 20th century. It is in excellent condition with no marks or damage. |
| comment | A metal spiral beehive - I haven't got one of those. |
